PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an connection operation of a pipe in a pipe joint having a function for locking a pipe body by making the connection tooth of a ring body connect with an internal surface of the pipe body. SOLUTION: The pipe joint comprises a joint body 1 having a connection cylinder section 2, a locking function for locking the pipe body 200 by connecting with a pipe-wall internal surface of the pipe body 200 inserted into the connection cylinder section 2, and a cylindrical indicator 8 for showing an end position of the pipe body 200 by backing up by an end of the pipe body 200 inserted into the connection cylinder section 2 by fitting to the connection cylinder section 2. The locking mechanism is the ring body 3 with a connection tooth 5. The indicator 8 is arranged at an initial position for making diameter contraction so that the ring body 3 does not stick out of the outer peripheral surface of the connection cylinder section 2 by being fitted on straddling both of the ring body 3 and a groove edge 42 of a circular groove section 4 at an initial state wherein the pipe body 200 is not inserted into the connection cylinder section 2.
