CUCURBITANE TRITERPENOID SAPONINS, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION THEREOF, PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to the pharmaceutical field and discloses cucurbitane triterpenoid saponins extracted from Momordica charantia, a pharmaceutical composition containing them and their preparation. The invention also discloses the use of such compounds in preparation of medicaments for the treatment of diabetes, obesity and hyperlipaemia. The saponins disclosed in the invention are represented by formula I.
