HIGHLY SATURATED COPOLYMER RUBBER HAVING NITRILE GROUP

Disclosed is a highly saturated copolymer rubber having a nitrile group, which has an iodine value of 80 or less and contains a capric acid salt in an amount of 0.01 to 0.4 wt%. Preferably, the capric acid salt is an alkali earth metal salt of capric acid or a Group-13 metal salt of capric acid. It becomes possible to provide highly saturated copolymer rubber having a nitrile group which has improved mold contamination properties while keeping its physical properties under ordinary conditions and heat resistance when the rubber is crosslinked.
