A plasma display device thereof is provided to reduce a bright defect due to overdischarge by controlling the ascending and descending slope of a reset supplied to a first sub field smoothly. In a plasma display device thereof, an upper plate(10) is formed with a plurality of scan electrodes(11) and a sustain electrode(12). A lower plate(20) is comprised of a plurality of address electrodes(22), and a driving unit supplies a driving signal to a plurality of electrodes. A reset period includes a set-up period where a reset signal is raised gradually. In the set-up period of first subfield, the first rising slope is slower than the second rising slope for the set-up period at the other subfield. |
