A microwave oven cooling fan driving detecting apparatus is provided to prevent overheat of the microwave oven in beforehand because the voltage applied from the heater is compared with the reference voltage and actual driving of the cooling fan is detected. A microwave oven cooling fan driving detecting apparatus comprises a heater(10) which inputs voltage according to thermal change of cooling fan(50) operation; a comparator(20) which outputs a high signal or a law signal according to the comparison value of the voltage and reference voltage; and a MICOM(30) which determines actual driving of the cooling fan according to the signal inputted from the comparator.
