A connector is provided to prevent a second locking from an excessive force to a holder while doing a first locking work by locating the first locking and the second locking in vertical direction. A housing(22) comprises a terminal settling portion(24) which is for accommodating a terminal in the housing. One side of the housing is open and forms an entrance(26). The entrance is where a holder described below is inserted. The entrance has a vertical direction from the terminal settling portion direction. The entrance is formed in a cross at right angle with the terminal settling portion. A confirmation slot(34) is formed in a side of the housing to check the locked state. The housing comprises the holder(40). One side of the holder is exposed outside by the confirmation slot.
