A method for manufacturing a polystyrene foam board is provided to dispose gas easily by dissolving the gas in water rapidly and ejecting it and to adjust the thickness of a board material and prevent corrugation and twist of a sheet attached to the board material. A method for manufacturing a polystyrene foam board comprises a step of foaming the surface of a foaming polystyrene board material(10) while passing the board material through the heated water in a water tub(21)(S20), a step of keeping the surface of the foamed board material flat(S30), a step of removing the moisture included in the flattened board material(S40), and a step of foaming the non-foamed part of the board material from which the moisture is removed(S50).
