SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING ALL WHEEL STEERING OF 8X8 WHEEL TYPE VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREOF

A system for controlling all wheel steering of an 8x8 wheel type vehicle and a method thereof are provided to reduce the weight of the vehicle and perform steering of all wheels effectively in an 8x8 wheel type vehicle. A system for controlling all wheel steering of an 8x8 wheel type vehicle comprises: a steering part(10) controlling the steering angle of wheels; a speed detecting part(20) sensing the speed(V) of the vehicle; a steering angle detecting part(30) sensing the steering angle of a first axis wheel and the steering angle of a fourth axis wheel; and a controller(40) delivering the control signals to the steering part. The steering part comprises: a front steering part(10-1) controlling the steering angle of the first and the second axis wheels; and a rear steering part controlling the steering angle of the third and fourth axis wheels(10-2).
