A grinding machine for an iron notch of a furnace is provided to smash and grind the iron notch, which is protruded with exceeding reference, in a short time. A grinding machine(100) for an iron notch of a furnace comprises: a base(110) installed at the front of the iron notch of the furnace; an elevating cylinder(130) installed and fixed on the base; a plate(140) being supported by the elevating cylinder and having an upper side which inclines identically with the slope of the iron notch; a block(150) which is installed on the plate, and moving forward and backward to be parallel to the center of the iron notch; a reduction motor(170) being installed at the block and having a rotary shaft(172) to be parallel to the center of the iron notch; a grinding bit(180) connected to the rotary shaft; and a cutter(200) installed at the grinding bit.
