A system comprises a service anchor apparatus configured to hold an original of an application program for providing a service; an end-user accommodation apparatus configured to connect with a terminal of an end user; and a relay apparatus located on a route between the service anchor apparatus and the end-user accommodation apparatus. The system creates, via the relay apparatus, a copy of the application program in the end-user accommodation apparatus, and the end-user accommodation apparatus runs the copy of the application program, thereby providing the service to the terminal of the end user. Virtual middleware is preferably installed on each apparatus, whereby an identical copy of the application program can run on more than one of the apparatus. The relay apparatus may further connect with a terminal of a second end user, and function as a second end user accommodation apparatus. The invention enables a user to access server software. |
