<p>The device (1) has a reception unit i.e. global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver (2), for receiving signals (4) from a satellite positioning system i.e. global positioning system (GPS) navigation satellite (3). The unit receives signals from a European geostationary navigation overlay service (EGNOS) to assure the integrity of the signals (4). A processor (5) calculates the position and the date at which the capturing of an image of an object is made. An encoding module (14) encodes data of the position and the date, and inserts the data in a data file (11) comprising the image. An independent claim is also included for a method for capturing an image of an object.</p> |
