A coating composition for protecting surface thereof is provided to ensure excellent transparency, strippability and water resistance to the uncoated materials such as water repellent glass. A coating composition for protecting surface thereof comprises an acrylic monomer 100.0 parts by weight, a water-soluble initiator 0.25~15 parts by weight, alcohols 0.25~25 parts by weight, cross-linking agent 0.1~5 parts by weight and polyvinylalcohol 25~150 parts by weight. The water-soluble initiator contains at least one selected from ammonium persulfate, sodium persulfate, potassium persulfate, tert-butyl hydroperoxide, sodium hydrosulfite, sodium metabisulfite, methanesulfonic acid and hydrogen peroxide. |
