A low noise operation method of an air-conditioner is provided to make the agreeable environment of an indoor space by controlling the noise of an indoor unit relative to the noise of the indoor space. A low noise operation method of an air-conditioner comprises: a first step of determining the operation of the air-conditioner(S100); a second of starting the operation of the air-conditioner while maintaining the suitable speed of the indoor unit fan motor by comparing the detected noise value of the inner space with a reference value(S135); a third step of setting up the suitable speed of the indoor unit fan motor by comparing the detected noise value of the inner space with a reference value if the air-conditioner operates in the first step(S150); and a fourth step of selecting to make the low noise operation stop or to perform from the first step again(S160).
