METHOD FOR SLITE OF LARGE SIZE STEEL REINFORCEMENT

A method for slite of large size steel reinforcement is provided to carry out stable rolling and prevent bending of a work piece in finishing rolling by forming asymmetric gaps of optimum ratio on the upper and lower rolls. A method for slite of large size steel reinforcement comprises a first rolling step of rolling a work piece in a lozenged shape in which a recessed part having asymmetric gaps(a,b) is formed on the exterior side, a step of slitting the rolled material by rolling the recessed part of the work piece, and a second rolling step of carrying out rolling to divide the rolled material into two circular pieces. The first rolling step is performed during intermediate rolling and the second rolling step is performed during finishing rolling.
