A semiconductor device is provided to control a driving force of a back bias voltage terminal according to a standby operation and an active operation by including a back bias voltage pumping circuit. An active pumping control signal generating part(340) generates an active pumping control signal(ACT-PUMP-CON) in response to a plurality of active signals(BA0~BA3). A back bias voltage detecting part(300) detects a level of a back bias voltage terminal. A back bias voltage oscillating part(310) generates an oscillation signal(VBB-OSC) in response to an output signal(VBB-DET) of the back bias voltage detecting part. A charge pumping part(320) includes a first charge pumping part(322) and a second charge pumping part(324). The first charge pumping part drives the back bias voltage terminal by performing a charge pumping operation in response to the oscillation signal and the active pumping control signal. The second charge pumping part drives the back bias voltage terminal by performing a charge pumping operation in response to the oscillation signal.
