Actuator for powered closure of a vehicle lock

The drive has a drive housing (2) and a drive motor (4), where linear drive movement is producible by the drive motor in an assembled condition and is transmitted to a motor vehicle lock (1) by a transmission unit (3) e.g. Bowden cable. An advance gear is provided downstream to the drive motor for producing the drive movement, and is formed as a spindle-spindle nut-gear with a spindle and a spindle nut. A drive shaft of the drive motor is coupled with the spindle directly or by an intermediate transmission e.g. planetary drive.
