A water purification cartridge and a water purifier including the same are provide to prevent lowering of flux of the water purification cartridge by discharging the air on the bottom of the sheet. A water purification cartridge(1) includes an adsorption purifying part(2) purifying raw water with adsorption of an absorbent filled in a cartridge vessel(28). A transformable sheet(30) is arranged to cover the top of the adsorption purifying part in the cartridge vessel. An edge end portion of the sheet is fixed on the cartridge vessel, and a connecting route(40) is formed on a non-fixed edge end portion(31) of the sheet. The water purification cartridge includes a control part(35). The control part secures a closing state of the connecting route by controlling deformation of the non-fixed edge end portion of the sheet.
