A wide-viewing angle liquid crystal display device including an optical film and improving the viewing angle characteristic is provided to change polarizing characteristic of the light which is inserted to a liquid panel. A liquid crystal panel includes a liquid crystal layer. A first polarizer(250) is positioned in the lower part of the liquid crystal panel. The first polarizer polarizes the light inputted to liquid crystal panel. A second polarizer is positioned in the upper part of the liquid crystal panel. A compensation film(240) is arranged between the liquid crystal panel and the first polarizer. The compensation film changes the polarization state of the light which is polarized in the first polarizer and is supplied to the liquid crystal panel. The first polarizer includes a first polarizer and a first supporter. |
