GROUPING METHOD OF THE IMAGE FILES AND THE APPARATUS ADOPTING THE SAME

A method of grouping image files and an apparatus adopting the same are provided to classify image files based on a rate that a face of an individual occupies in an image. A face recognizing unit(220) recognizes a face of an individual included in a stored image file, and a size calculating unit(230) calculates the image file size and a face size. A controller(250) classifies image files by suing those two kinds of sizes. A search unit(240) searches the image files included in the set conditions.
