<p>An inter-frequency hard handover method is provided to prevent a data transmission rate and voice quality from being lowered and reduce a hard handover time. A mobile communication terminal reports the same frequency signal intensity measurement value about an adjacent cells using the same frequency to an RNC(Radio Network Controller)(S201). The RNC determines available resources of the adjacent cells(S202). When the available resources do not exist in the adjacent cells, a cell servicing to the mobile communication terminal and another frequency cell having the same coverage are searched. The RNC identifies a cell having the maximum available resource among the other searched frequency cells(S203). The RNC performs hard handover by the cell having the maximum available resource(S204).</p> |
