INSTANT TRIP MECHANISM FOR MOLD CASED CIRCUIT BREAKER

An instant trip device of a molded case circuit breaker is provided to precisely control a blocking magnification of an instant current by controlling an interval between an armature and an electromagnet through a control unit. A cross bar(3) is installed in a position capable of being contacted with an open/close device. The cross bar triggers the open/close device to a trip position. An armature(2) is contacted with the cross bar. The armature is rotatably installed in a terminal of a molded case circuit breaker. An electromagnet(1) is faced with the armature. The electromagnet rotates the armature by generating a magnetic attractive force in generating an instant current. A control unit(5) is movably installed in a rear part of the armature. The control unit controls sensitivity of a trip operation about the instant current by controlling an interval between the armature and the electromagnet.
