An imaging apparatus, an imaging method, and a storing medium having computer program to perform the same are provided to reduce the size of storage medium which stores image data before processing an image signal and the power consumption while writing or reading from a storage medium. An imaging apparatus(100) may include an imaging device(102), an imaging device signal processing unit(104), bus interfaces(I/F)(106,112,130), a synchronizing signal generating unit(110), a plurality of multiplexers(MUX)(120), a line memory controller(121), a plurality of first line memories(122), a plurality of interpolation units(124), a plurality of second line memories(126), a plurality of JPEG processing units(128), a synchronous dynamic random access memory(SDRAM) controller(140), a SDRAM(142), and a memory card(150). The line memory controller writes a first display region data in the line memories. In the line memories, the first display region data is read out. The line memory controller writes a second display region data in a SDRAM. The second display region data is read out from the SDRAM by the SDRAM controller.
