ADAPTIVE POWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD ACCORDING TO DUTY CYCLE

An adaptive power management system and a method according to a duty cycle are provided to perform power management differentiated according to a duty cycle, thereby reducing 30%~40% power consumption. A duty cycle timer(120) counts time. A scheduler(130) controls count of the duty cycle timer. The scheduler discriminatively performs power management of major devices by using a count time value of the duty cycle timer according to a duty cycle of a system. The scheduler calculates a current amount by measuring a current and time necessary for executing a specific application program in a sensor node.
