<p>A temporary protective cover comprises a lightweight tarpaulin sheet 3 which features a series of holes 4 at spaced along each longitudinal side. A series of cords 5 with elastic properties are secured within the holes 4. At a free end of each cord 5 is a metal clip (6, Fig 2). In use, the protective cover is draped over the roof ridge, to provide an equal sheet area on both sides of the roof, whereupon the clips can be secured temporarily beneath the outer edges of the tiles or slates. The metal clips may feature two hook-like projections, as shown in Fig 3.</p> |
