FACING DISCHARGE TYPE AC PDP AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

A facing discharge type AC PDP and fabricating method thereof are provided to luminance and luminous efficiency by distributing uniformly the high density of excited xenon. The glass substrates(110) of the upper plate(100) and glass substrates(250) of the lower plate(200) are arranged in order to be in opposite directions. The black matrix(120) is formed at the lower part of the glass substrates of the upper plate. The upper plate barrier rib(130) is formed at the lower part of the black matrix. The lower plate barrier rib(210) is formed at the lower part of upper plate barrier rib. The fluorescent substance(220) is formed between the lower plate barrier ribs. The lower plate dielectric layer(230) is formed at the lower part of barrier rib and fluorescent substance of the lower plate. The address electrode(240) is formed in the lower part of the lower plate dielectric layer.
