COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR SKIN-AGING PROTECTION AND WRINKLE IMPROVEMENT COMPRISING THE EXTRACT OF LITHOSPERMUM ERYTHRORHIZON AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT USING A SUPERCRITICAL FLUID EXTRACT

A cosmetic composition containing a supercritical Lithospermum erythrorhizon extract is provided to have the effects of antioxidation, MMP-1(matrix metallo protein 1) synthesis inhibition, collagen synthesis enhancement, antiaging and antiwrinkle. A cosmetic composition for antiaging and antiwrinkle comprises 0.001-30.0 weight% of supercritical Lithospermum erythrorhizon extract as an active ingredient. The supercritical Lithospermum erythrorhizon extract is isolated by supercritical extraction using carbon dioxide at 35-100°C and the pressure of 100-500. A mixture fluid mixing with co-solvent is additionally used. The co-solvent is chloroform, ethanol, methanol, water, ethylacetate, butylacetate, hexane or diethylether. The composition is used in a form of solution, suspension, emulsion, paste, gel, cream, lotion, powder, soap, surfactant-containing cleansing, powder type foundation, emulsion type foundation, wax type foundation or spray.
