NANIGATION DEVICE AND METHOD OF PROVIDING MAP USING THE SAME

A navigation device and a method of providing a map using the same are provided to allow map update even when a vehicle gets out of from a road course by communicating with a server. A navigation device and a method of providing a map using the same is comprised of the steps: a map data are displayed(S220); the location of a vehicle is transmitted to a server when the vehicle gets out of the road course of displayed map data; and the navigation device receives map data corresponding to the potion data and displays it. The location includes the latitude and longitude corresponding to a coordinates of vehicle current location.
