A driving method for a plasma display panel and a plasma display apparatus are provided to improve a contrast property and reduce a flicker by increasing a scan electrode voltage gradually. A first and a second reset signal are supplied to a scan electrode for a reset of at least one subfield from a plurality of subfields of a frame. A first reset signal comprises the first rising signal(RS1) in which voltage gradually rises and the first falling signal in which voltage gradually descends. The second reset signal comprises the second rising signal(RS2) in which voltage gradually rises and the second falling signal in which voltage gradually descends. The point of time of supply of the first rising signal precedes the point of time of supply of the second rising signal. A first sustain bias signal comprises a first duration maintaining the first voltage(V1). |
