A pressing device le and a pressing method using the same are provided to reduce the time for the mold design since the design of a draw bead is unnecessary in the press die design. A method for pressing using a pressing device comprises: a step of mounting material to a mold(S120); a step of electrifying the current to a draw bead forming unit mounted at the mold(S140); a step of pressing the material and forming the draw bead at the material mounted at the mold by the electromechanical power of the draw bead forming unit(S160); and a step of inspecting a defect on the material. The draw bead forming unit generates the electromechanical power by electrifying the current through a coil. The draw bead forming unit includes: a magnetic force formation bar raising the magnetic force; and the coil in which the current is electrified. The material is a sheet bar used for a vehicle body.
