A differentiation unit of a counterfeit bill is provided to perform a differentiation for the counterfeit bill, and to minimize the differentiation unit by using a lens collecting reflected light. An ultraviolet ray diode(3) irradiates ultraviolet rays to an inspected object, and is mounted on a housing having a predetermined form. A lens(4) mounted on the housing condenses fluorescence or the ultraviolet rays which are reflected from the inspected body. A band pass filter(5) is mounted on the housing, and penetrates the light of a specific wave changed by fluorescent materials. A light receiving element(6) receives the light passing through the band pass filter.
