An apparatus for generating ionic wind is provided to offer simple structure by installing the apparatus without a member removing ozone except a discharge electrode and an opposed electrode, and to reduce installation cost and exchange cost. An apparatus for generating ionic wind generates the ionic wind through corona discharge between a discharge electrode(1) and an opposed electrode(2). The opposed electrode includes a porous conductive member. The discharge electrode is comprised of a plurality of carbon fibers. The opposed electrode is formed with porous metals. A material of the opposed electrode is a nickel-based metal. The discharge electrode includes a ceramic heater.
