发明名称 HYBRID CURRENT LIMITER USING SUPERCONDUCTION DEVICE
摘要 A hybrid current limiter using a superconductive device is provided to minimize power loss by minimizing generation of a heat in a contact part of a main circuit switch in conducting a steady state current to a power system. A superconductive device(1) is serially connected to a line of a power system. The superconductive device is quenched into a high resistance state in conducting a fault current to the power system. A vacuum interrupter(2) is serially connected to a rear end of the superconductive device. The vacuum interrupter has a fixed contact and a movable contact. A permanent magnet controller(3) provides a contact pressing force to the movable contact of the vacuum interrupter in conducting a steady state current to the power system. A high speed switch(5) is parallel connected to the superconductive device and the vacuum interrupter. A driving coil(4) is connected between the high speed switch and the permanent magnet controller in order to interlock the high speed switch with the permanent magnet controller.
