An LED package for a backlight source obtaining uniform directivity angle in all directions is provided to widen orientation angle and improve the light efficiency through a stairway structure including a lens. A circular side wall is protruded from a rectangular plate(110). The inner end side of the side wall is formed with the stairway type structure. The light generated from RGB(Red, Green and Blue) LED(Light Emitting Diode) chip(120) within the side wall is more very much emitted to the outside. The lens which widely emits the light irradiated from the LED chip and the reflected light to upstream are adhered to the side wall upside. The space in which the LED chip is mounted onto is shut tightly.
