A streaming service control system, a method thereof, a server applied to the same for maximizing the efficiency of a wireless network resource/system resource are provided to reduce a packet cost by interrupting a specific media according to a terminal environment. A user terminal(100) requests a reproduction control about a multimedia contents while displaying the multimedia contents. A contents providing server(500) transmits multimedia contents to the user terminal in a streaming mode. According to the regenerative control request received from the user terminal, the contents providing server performs the streaming service control on the playing interval information of the multimedia contents according to the regenerative control request receiving time.
