COMPOSITION FOR CALENDERABLE PLASTICIZER-FREE LOW HARDNESS THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER

A calenderable plasticizer-free low-hardness thermoplastic polyurethane resin composition is provided to ensure excellent elasticity and reactivity, low hardness, good mechanical property, UV stability, and activity to calendar roll. A calenderable plasticizer-free low-hardness thermoplastic polyurethane resin composition comprises (a) polyol 70-80 weight%, (b) diisocyanate 13-20 weight%, (c) chain extender 2-6 weight%, (d) catalyst 0.001-0.1 weight% and (e) lubricant 0.5-2.5 weight%. The ratio of NCO / OH is 0.96-1.00. A method for manufacturing the resin composition comprises the steps of: injecting reactants into a reactor; mixing the reactants by using a rotation unit and polymerizing the mixture at a reaction temperature 180-220 °C; and drying the polymerized resin.
