HOT CATHODE FLUORESCENT LAMP AND BACKLIGHT UNIT FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY MODULE INCLUDING THE SAME

A hot cathode fluorescent lamp and backlight unit for liquid crystal display module including the same are provided to achieve the light weight of the liquid crystal display by reducing the pipe size of lamp. The inactive discharge gas(211) is filled in the glass tube(201). The both ends within the glass tube include the first and second electrodes(203a, 203b). The protective layer(207) and fluorescent material(209) are coated on the inside wall of the glass tube. The emitter material for obtaining the high efficiency of the lamp(200) is coated on the first and the second electrode. The fluorescent material is a wide color gamut material. The reflector is positioned at the rear side of lamp.
