<p>A suspenders assembly comprises a pair of suspenders (10) including:
a pair of front strap portions (26) configured to be coupled to a pair of trousers (12);
a pair of rear strap portions (28) configured to be coupled to said pair of trousers (12); and
wherein the assembly includes a padded portion (64) coupled to and extending between said rear strap portions (28), wherein said padded portion (64) is configured and located to lie on a wearer's back when said suspenders (10) are worn over the shoulder of a wearer, said padded portion (64) having a greater padding than part of said strap portions (26, 28) and having a surface area of at least about 161 square centimeters (about twenty five square inches) to provide cushioning for a SCBA tank.</p> |
