OPTICAL SHEET, BACKLIGHT UNIT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DEVICE USING THE SAME

A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display including an optical sheet enhancing the luminance of the display are provided to increase the luminance and durability of the display device. An optical sheet(100) includes a base film(110) and a prism portion(120) located on the surface the base film. A first prism unit is located on surface the base film. The cross section of the first prism portion has the triangular shape. A second prism unit is located so that the second prism portion cover the first prism portion. The first prism portion is made of bromine based compounds, fluorene-based compounds or bi-phenyl based compounds.
