<p>The clamping mechanism of a file includes a baseplate (1) and a pair of spikes (11, 12) firmly connected to it as well as a pair of swinging pressure spikes (21, 22) which can be pressed towards the spikes (11, 12) thanks to the movement of an operating handle (3). The aim of the invention is to provide that despite the mere minimum modifications of the existing mechanism the operating handle (3) is in such a position that it enables the user to leaf through the papers held by the mechanism even when both spike pairs (11, 12; 21, 22) are in the released position. According to the invention a two-part operating handle (3) is anticipated whose primary part (31) is in the rotating point (30) rotationally linked to the bracket (13) on the baseplate (1), while its secondary part (32) is rotationally linked to the aforementioned primary part (31). On the primary part (31) of the operating handle (3) there is at a distance from the rotating point (30) an anticipated pressure element (35) which interacts either with the flat part (251) or the slant part (252) of the supporting element (25) which is made available in the central area (25) of the clamping mechanism.</p> |
