#CMT# #/CMT# The compression mold (2) for plastics preforms, e.g. for bottles, has a section (100) with a cavity (110) and a section (200) with a core (210). The cavity and the core lie on a common geometrical axis with relative linear movement for the core to move into the cavity for the preform to be molded between them.
