The present invention relates to a method of fracturing a subterranean formation, the claimed method comprises injecting a hydraulic fluid into a subterranean formation, the fluid containing a proppant material comprising a substrate material and a scale resistant material coating the substrate material, wherein the scale resistant material is a metallic glass, fluoropolymer, ceramic or silicate. Said method prevents a long-term scale deposition in the proppant packing. The invention also relates to fluids for treating a subterranean formation, comprising a viscosifying agent and a proppant material, comprising a substrate material and a scale resistant material, coating the substrate material, the scale resistant material is a metallic glass, fluoropolymer, ceramic or silicate and fluid for formation gravel pack comprising said proppant. The invention provides to improve materials resistance for treating subterranean formations and for prevention of scale deposition. |
