An exhaust gas purification device of an internal combustion engine is provided to reduce the congestion of additive and smoke inside an injection path due to the inflow of the exhaust gas into the injection path and suppress generation of the precipitate inside the injection path. An exhaust gas purification device(3) of an internal combustion engine comprises an exhaust path(15), a catalyst(5), an injection path(24a), an additive injection valve(23), and an inlet part(30). The exhaust path guides exhaust gas exhausted from an engine to outside. The catalyst is installed at the exhaust path. The injection path is connected from the exhaust path to the upper part of the catalyst. The additive injection valve is installed at the injection path. The additive injection valve supplies the additive to the catalyst through the injection valve. The inlet part is installed at a confluence part(26) in which the injection path and the exhaust path are confluent.
