The sleeper has elastic rail support for ballast track or permanent way, and guide plates (6') with anti-twisting device in the support section between rail foot and side shoulders (1) of the sleeper. The support section (3') is mainly flat without transverse deep beads. Anti-twisting recesses are located pref. in the outer edge areas of the support section, and these engage with anti-twisting blocks on the guide plates. The support section has similar blocks (16), and these engage in corresponding recesses (19) in the guide plates. The blocks may be formed by dowels, esp. plastic dowels, pressed into apertures in the concrete body of the sleeper. |
