<p>A method for generating a chart is disclosed. The method initially involves the step of providing a database. The database contains a plurality of historical prices and a plurality of historical volumes of a share associated with a timeline for generating the chart therefrom. The method also involves averaging a portion of the plurality of historical prices occurring within a first period from a reference point along the timeline to obtain a first average value therefrom. The method further involves averaging a portion of the plurality of historical prices occurring within a second period from the reference point along the timeline to obtain a second average value therefrom. Additionally, the method involves differencing the first average value with the second average value to obtain a difference value for the reference point and averaging a portion of the plurality of volumes of the share occurring within a third period from the reference point to obtain a third average value. The method further yet involves plotting the difference value and the third average value corresponding with the reference point along the timeline on the chart. Fig 3</p> |
