A baffle device for preventing the overflow of soil of a sediment basin is provided to prevent the lowering of the sedimentation efficiency of soil in a sediment basin by preventing the overflow of influent water including soil to a sediment basin. A baffle device for preventing the overflow of soil of a sediment basin, which is installed to an inflow path(3) of a sediment basin where influent water including soil flows in to baffle the flow of influent water, comprises a first baffle wall(20) mounted across the inflow path and provided with many first flow holes(23) to make the influent water flow in the sediment basin, and a plurality of overflow prevention plates formed to be projected from the front of the first baffle wall to prevent the influent water running into the front of the first baffle wall from flowing over the top of the first baffle wall and flowing in the sediment basin. |
