A method for transmitting and receiving signals using a multi-band RF(Radio Frequency) is provided to acquire a diversity gain or a multiplexing gain additionally while transmitting and receiving a signal. One MAC PDU(401) performs a channel coding operation or a multiplexing operation according to the unit additionally regulated regardless of plural frequency bands, and the generated code words are mapped to one or more than one frequency allocation bands. Therefore, the diversity gain is acquired. In addition, additional diversity gain is obtained according to the number of mapped frequency bands.
