A composition containing Rubus Coreanus Miquel extract is provided to prevent and treat osteoporosis due to an effect inducing osteoblast activities and an effect suppressing osteoclast activities at the same time. A composition containing Rubus Coreanus Miquel extract comprises the steps of: obtaining a first extract by extracting Rubus Coreanus Miquel with alcohol; and obtaining ethyl acetate-soluble neutral fraction by extracting the first extract with ethyl acetate. The extract includes a compound represented by chemical formula 1 to an active component. In chemical formula 1, R is H or C1-C4 alky. The compound is ethyl ester protocatechuate represented by chemical formula 2. The alcohol is methanol, ethanol, propanol or butanol.
