An apparatus for forming a gap in a cross section of a circular tube is provided to form a gap in a cross section of a circular tube by machining, to form both an X-shaped gap and a U-shaped gap in a cross section of a circular tube, and to perform the taper-cutting work for the outer circumference of a circular tube by machining. An apparatus for forming a gap in a cross section of a circular tube comprises a first driving roller(11) and a second driving roller(12) abutting on the circumferential surface of a circular tube(1) to rotate the circular tube, a first idle roller(13) and a second idle roller(14) abutting on the circumferential surface of the circular tube to support the circular tube to be rotatable, a first stopping roller(15) and a second stopping roller(16) supporting the front cross section of the circular tube, a third stopping roller(17) supporting the rear cross section of the circular tube, a top and bottom fixing roller(18) abutting on the inner circumferential surface of the circular tube to restrain the vertical vibration of the circular tube, and a spindle head(21) arranged to process the front cross section or the front circumferential surface of the circular tube. |
