A power generating apparatus using buoyancy is provided to minimize energy loss caused by elevation and to generate electric power. A power generating apparatus using buoyancy comprises a reservoir(10), a DOC(20), a tunable(30), a rack gear(50), a pinion gear(60), and a power generation unit. The reservoir is installed at the bottom of the tide embankment(15). The reservoir stores the water rushing for with flood. The DOC is formed in one side of the tide embankment. The rack gear is combined in the upper end of tunable. According to the rack gear is the elevation of tunable, it is transferred in a straight line in top and bottom. The pinion gear goes in gear with the rack gear and the pinion gear rotates. The mean of generation of electricity is connected to the pinion gear. The electricity is produced while the mean of generation of electricity is rotated. |
