A tag transmitter and auto vehicle location system using the same are provided, which is formed in the structure of being directly inserted into the connecting cable or the cigar jack and transmits the location information. A global positioning system receiver(210) receives signal from satellite and outputs the signal. The present position information is stored in the memory(220). The antenna(230) transmits the location information stored in the memory to the air. The controller(240) produces the present position information and stores it in the memory. The controller transmits the position signal including the position information and discrimination information through antenna. The power supply unit(250) provides the drive power to each part.
